Northern Miner, June 9th 2017 Castle Silver markets cobalt potential in Asia

A junior with properties in northern Ontario containing past-producing silver and cobalt mines says metal traders and carmakers in Japan and battery manufacturers in China are eager to lockup supply.
“Everyone is just scrambling to get cobalt,” Frank Basa, CEO of Castle Silver Resources (TSXV: CSR; US-OTC: TAKRF), says in a telephone interview from Beijing. “They are extremely aggressive and want to sign agreements with us.”

Castle Silver's Got Grade

Castle Silver Resources Inc (TSX-V: CSR OTC:TAKRF FRANKFURT:4T9B) is a silver-cobalt company aiming to resume mining at the Castle Silver and Beaver properties in Ontario Canada. Castle CEO Frank Basa Interviewed by Isabel Belger of Zimtu Capital Corporation

Mr. Basa is a distinguished metallurgist and milling expert who has over 28 years of global mining experience with expertise in milling, gravity concentration, flotation, leaching and refining of precious and base metals. He is an expert in cobalt metallurgy, having worked in Ontario’s Cobalt Camp early in his career, when he designed, in conjunction with Canada’s National Research Council, a unique hydrometallurgical process known as Re-2OX for the recovery of multiple metals and elements from all feeds with varying chemistries.
